Organization Purpose

The arts and music programs at Mt. Tabor require extensive funding beyond what the school system provides. Each year we raise over $15,000 (and need to raise more) to support the arts at Mt. Tabor. Annually our drama productions, choral concerts, dance recitals, orchestra and band activities cost thousands of dollars to produce. The music, costumes, special technical support for programs, arts supplies, and student transportation to events require dollars.



Our programs at Mt. Tabor produce young people who win competitions, awards, and wide recognition for their performances. So popular are our programs, we have over 700 students enrolled in arts and music classes. This is nearly half of all students enrolled at Mt Tabor.
